Hear a song you love while listening inside Qthatup? Tap Q to save the available live metadata. Listening to a physical radio outside Qthatup? Use SYNC and explicitly allow microphone access; Qthatup makes a brief recording and saves a result only when its recognition pipeline can identify one.
Q works differently for different inputs. Participating stations can provide live playout metadata, external audio uses consent-based transcription and classification, and physical media can be saved through photos or location. Results are kept in My Q when useful information is available; external audio recognition is not yet a licensed acoustic-fingerprinting service.
